गांव का इतिहास
सारसा में आपका स्वागत है, यह कुरुक्षेत्र, हरियाणा का एक ऐतिहासिक और सांस्कृतिक रूप से समृद्ध गाँव है। पवित्र शालिहोत्र तीर्थ के लिए प्रसिद्ध सारसा का प्रबंधन 1980 से महंत श्री चंद्रिका दास जी महाराज द्वारा किया जा रहा है। मान्यता है कि यक्ष सरस् ने युधिष्ठिर की परीक्षा यहीं ली थी, और उनकी बुद्धिमत्ता से उनके चारों भाई पुनर्जीवित हुए थे। इसी कथा से इस गाँव का ऐतिहासिक नाम पड़ा।
आज सारसा प्रशासनिक रूप से चार पट्टियों में विभाजित है— भोजू पट्टी, जस्सो पट्टी, धिंगर पट्टी और तिलाही पट्टी।
Sarsa village is traditionally divided into four pattis, which serve as local divisions for easy identification of homes and administrative convenience. These pattis reflect the long-standing community structure of the village and help residents maintain social and cultural harmony within their areas.
In Sarsa, the four pattis are:
1. Bhoju Patti
One of the oldest sections of the village, known for its close-knit families and strong cultural roots.
2. Jasso Patti
A prominent patti with an active community, contributing significantly to village traditions and events.
3. Dhingar Patti
A developing area known for its vibrant local life and community participation.
4. Tilahi Patti
A peaceful and culturally rich part of Sarsa, maintaining traditional lifestyles and village values.
These four pattis together form the identity of Sarsa, helping preserve its heritage while supporting smooth local administration. Though divided politically for convenience, the entire village remains united as one strong community.
